Arena's Rehoboth - Let's Do Trivia - Blurb from 3/25/24 Gameshow

Let's Do Trivia back at Arena's Deli and Bar in Rehoboth Beach, remember now on Mondays at 7pm!  In a highly contested contest newcomers to Let's Do Trivia Hall Hipsters found themselves tied with About Faces at halftime! 

The home team Hot Tots used a near flawless 2^nd half hitting 7 of 9 questions correctly to climb within 3 points of the lead heading into the final question!  Then it all came down to the wagers as just 8 points separated 1^st and 4^th place and it was Hot Tots who made the best wager and would come out on top!  Since they are the Home Team, the $40 Grand Prize will roll over into next week when we play for an $80 Gift Card from Arena's!

Next week earn and extra 2 points if you draw a flower for our art submission bonus!

Arena’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 3/18/24

Arena's: It was great to be back on the avenue as a guest host at Arena's. The staff and the crowd are always friendly & fun. About Faces nabbed the OTB extra point to jump into the early lead. They held off the rest of the field with Team 2 B Reckoned With nipping at their heals all the way. *draw a picture of the Donnie Darko Bunny on the Round 2/Question 1 response to score bonus points* We had a tight group at Halftime led by About Faces over Team 2 B Reckoned With, Whatever, Bare Bikers and Hot Tots. About Faces extended their lead while the other teams got spread a little thinner over the course of the second half. Going into the Final Bonus, About Faces had a comfortable advantage over Team 2 B Reckoned With, Bare Bikers, Whatever and Hot Tots.

A couple teams correctly answered the Final Bonus, skyrocketing to the front!

Last week, the intellectual clock ticked away as vibrant teams gathered at Arena's Deli in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, for an epic battle of wits in the thrilling "Let's Do Trivia" game. The competition was fierce, and the atmosphere was charged with excitement.

Among the contenders were the cleverly named teams: Hot Totz, Drink Spiller, Smarter When We Drink, Col Tav, Here For The Nachos, Lauren's Hate Page, and the intriguing 2 Squeaky Pickles. Each team brought their A-game, combining knowledge and strategy to conquer the ticking trivia challenge.

As the questions flowed like sand through an hourglass, Smarter When We Drink emerged victorious, claiming the coveted 1st place and a $40 prize. Their minds, synchronized like a well-oiled clock, proved to be an unstoppable force. Meanwhile, Here For The Nachos secured 2nd place, earning themselves a $10 prize and proving that they were not just there for the nachos, but for the pursuit of intellectual glory.

Arena's - Let's Do Trivia - 3-5-24 ***$50 INFLATED PRIZE ALERT***

 

There's a certain kind of magic that fills the air when people gather together to do something in a lively atmosphere, with music, to play games as a group. Laughter comes from thin air. Everyone has a spirit of kinship. We all feel like we're doing something important...and we are. We're filling each other's lives with joy. That feeling is missing when you all aren't around. Frankly, I miss it. We have such a great time with Let's Do Trivia, and I'm not saying that just to promote the game. I really mean it. When the summer comes, Arena's will be filled with snowbirds and tourists, and that's a really, really good thing. But before that, let's enjoy the fun times we get to have when it's just us: two (or three) friends (only in spanish), a team that's always number two (and a force to be reckoned with), a foursome (sometimes five) that are all about those faces, a family that spills drinks, absolute mayhem itself, and so many more. Hope to see you there, friends. :)

 Last week, the lively atmosphere at Arena's Deli in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, was filled with the spirited competition of the "Let's Do Trivia" game. Teams such as Hot Totz, Team 2Be Reckoned With, Ana's Boys, and Drink Spillers gathered for an evening of brain-teasing questions and friendly banter.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the teams engaged in rounds of challenging trivia, showcasing their knowledge on a variety of topics. Laughter echoed through the restaurant as the springtime vibes infused the air with a sense of renewal and excitement.

When the final question was answered, it was Team 2Be Reckoned With that emerged victorious, claiming the coveted 1st place. Their triumph was rewarded with a $40 prize, adding a touch of spring bloom to their celebration. Hot Totz secured the 2nd place spot, earning a $10 prize; however, the spring spirit prevailed as their prize was rolled over, blossoming into a $50 prize for the upcoming week.

I guess the post-Valentine's Day burnout/hangover/whatever is real, since it was a small, but very fun crowd at Arena's in Downtown Rehoboth last week. In fact, the whole town seemed deserted! But, dessert was served in the form of some sweet prizes to About Faces, who won a $40 prize; and Team 2Be Reckoned With, who won a $10 prize!

Folks, there's no cost for parking outside of summer, and PLENTY of fun to be had on the Rehoboth Boardwalk before May, and it's at Arena's on Tuesday nights at 7pm! Why wait until the tourists flock back to have fun? Don't be a trivia snowbird...the early bird who comes to Let's Do Trivia before the big crowds gets the big fat juicy worm $40 prize, and prime seating!!! See you Tuesday!!
