Arena’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 9/23/24

Arena's: A great crowd made their way out to the avenue for this week's game despite the dreary weather. Hot Totz snagged the OTB extra point for a second time in a row to get the early jump on the field. However, midway through the half About Faces nudged slightly ahead to take over the lead. *draw a picture of the trees shedding their leaves on the (9/30/24) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points*. At Halftime, About Faces held a slim lead over Hot Totz, Dave & The Cool Tots, Marless and 4 plus 1. The second half played out in much the same fashion as the first, with About Faces extending their lead while everyone else fought over the scraps. Going into the Final Bonus, they were trailed by Dave & The Cool Tots, Hot Totz, Marless and We Are A Family.

We had a few teams correctly answer the Final Bonus, although not all wagered any points.

Arena's: We had a bit of a cage match for this week's game. Hot Totz came out swinging right from the beginning, taking the OTB extra point then leading the game throughout the early rounds. *draw a picture of Garfield The Cat on the (9/23/24) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points*. The Halftime Bonus changed the outlook of the match as About Faces scored maximum points to snatch the lead out of the hands of Hot Totz ahead of Ali & AJ. The standings remained unchanged over the course of the second half and into the Final Bonus.

Arena's: *No More Parking Meters!*

The avenue was a little less busy now that tourist season is winding down, so making it out to play our game is way more relaxing. American Idiots struck first, taking the OTB extra point, but then stumbled early allowing the rest of the field to sweep past. It was a close match with four teams tied for the lead throughout the half. *draw a picture of the Easy Rider chopper on the (9/16/24) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points*. At Halftime, JAMS held a slim lead over About Faces, followed closely by a tie between Family Matters and Risky Quizness, then K-Team. The field stayed tightly matched over much of the second half until the last round. Going into the Final Bonus, About Faces held a narrow lead over JAMS, K-Team, Risky Quizness, then a tie between American Idiots and Family Matters.

Only one team correctly answered the Final Bonus, taking the victory!

Arena’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 9/2/24 *Inflated Prize Alert*

Arena's: *Reminder: Game Time is now 7pm*

Dave & The Hot Totz were first out of the gate, taking the OTB extra point, but were quickly relegated to mid-pack by American Idiots, About Faces, and R.A.F. Turnhouse. The lead trio traded the top spot several times as they scrapped it out in the early rounds. *draw a picture of Beetlejuice on the (9/9/24) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points*. At the halfway mark, American Idiots shared the lead with R.A.F. Turnhouse ahead of About Faces, Dave & The Hot Totz and Hurley From Lost. Thesecond half did little to shake up the running order, however American Idiots was able to wrestle sole possession of the lead from R.A.F. Turnhouse as we headed into the Final Bonus.

Only one team correctly answered the Final Bonus, and the house team snagged the top prize, so our next game will have an inflated bonus prize!

Arena's: We had another great crowd and another great game. Team Mayhem scored the OTB extra point to get the jump on the field in what would be a super close match. *draw a picture of a BBQ grill on the (9/2/24) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points*. At Halftime, Mayhem was just ahead of, Hot Totz, Elicia & The Goobers, then a tie between North Stars and Rodney Street Kids, all covered by a mere 3 points. The Rodney Street Kids kicked into high gear coming out of halftime to leapfrog into the lead, but then ran out of gas late in the half. Going into the Final Bonus, North Stars held the lead over Mayhem, Rodney Street Kids, Quintastic, then a tie between Hot Totz and About Faces.
