Arena's - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 7/22/24

Wow, what a week here at Arena's Rehoboth for Let's Do Trivia!! Ten teams braved the harsh elements to create a close match throughout the entire evening, with ties abounding at the half. *draw a picture of a surprise tornado at the beach on the (7/29/24) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points*. At the halfway mark, the Pine Nuts and Amy's Magic Pills were tied for 7th, the Hot Totz and Team Steve were tied for 4th, and the About Faces, Mongrel Elite, and Captain Morgan were three-way tied for 1st; however, the teams were still in it to win it through the second half. A few teams did answer the Final Bonus correctly, resulting in the following Top 5:

In our neck-and-neck game, the final tiebreaker went to James taking home the gold and Onika Burger taking home second place. It was an honor to cover for Eric this week, and I hope to see you all again. Have a great week!!

Arena's: We had a super enthusiastic bunch of players join our game this week. Alone And Afraid were first on the board, scoring the OTB extra point. The match was close, with no clear favorite over the course of the early rounds. *draw a picture of a melting ice cream cone on the (7/22/24) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points*. At the halfway mark, Alone And Afraid was narrowly ahead of Hot Totz, Penelope's Posse, Adarlie Bois, then a tie between The Wickersham Brothers and Allentown Family. The second half did well to shake up the running order of the roster for all but the top spot. Alone And Afraid had slightly extended their lead over Adarlie Bois, The Pine Nuts, The Wickersham Brothers and Hot Totz as we entered the Final Bonus.

Arena's: The avenue was busy and we had a baker's dozen of fantastic teams join our game. The Hot Totz, Alone And Afraid and The Flying Pigs all scored OTB bonus points for their responses. It was a super close match with several teams vying for the lead. *draw a picture of the Arc de Triomphe on the (7/15/24) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points*. At Halftime, Alone And Afraid held a comfy lead over a tie between Yesterday's News and Old Town, followed by another tie between DNC and Myth And Moonshine. Alone And Afraid stumbled a bit early in the second half, allowing the pursuing teams to challenge for the lead. Going into the Final Bonus, Alone And Afraid still held a slim lead over Hot Totz, Old Town, Odd Todd And The Roybots, then a tie between Czapp Attack and Myth And Moonshine.

Arena's: Summer is in full swing and the avenue is packed, which makes this venue the perfect getaway. The Hot Totz were first on the board, snagging the OTB extra point, and got off to a strong start. However, Killer Kollers and Home Team Mulverne would rise above the rest of the competition to battle for the lead in the later rounds of the first half. *draw a picture of some fireworks on the Round 2/Question 1 response (7/1/24) to score bonus points* At Halftime, Killer Kollers led the charge ahead of Hot Totz, PS Inc., Home Team Mulverne and Train. The second half did well to shuffle the running order, keeping the majority of our teams engaged. Going into the Final Bonus, PS Inc. held the lead over Hot Totz, DogLovers, Killer Kollers and Home Team Mulverne.
