Arena's - Let's Do Trivia - 2-27-24

 Last week, the lively atmosphere at Arena's Deli in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, was filled with the spirited competition of the "Let's Do Trivia" game. Teams such as Hot Totz, Team 2Be Reckoned With, Ana's Boys, and Drink Spillers gathered for an evening of brain-teasing questions and friendly banter.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the teams engaged in rounds of challenging trivia, showcasing their knowledge on a variety of topics. Laughter echoed through the restaurant as the springtime vibes infused the air with a sense of renewal and excitement.

When the final question was answered, it was Team 2Be Reckoned With that emerged victorious, claiming the coveted 1st place. Their triumph was rewarded with a $40 prize, adding a touch of spring bloom to their celebration. Hot Totz secured the 2nd place spot, earning a $10 prize; however, the spring spirit prevailed as their prize was rolled over, blossoming into a $50 prize for the upcoming week.

I guess the post-Valentine's Day burnout/hangover/whatever is real, since it was a small, but very fun crowd at Arena's in Downtown Rehoboth last week. In fact, the whole town seemed deserted! But, dessert was served in the form of some sweet prizes to About Faces, who won a $40 prize; and Team 2Be Reckoned With, who won a $10 prize!

Folks, there's no cost for parking outside of summer, and PLENTY of fun to be had on the Rehoboth Boardwalk before May, and it's at Arena's on Tuesday nights at 7pm! Why wait until the tourists flock back to have fun?  In a dazzling display of intellectual prowess at Arena's Deli in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, teams gathered to engage in the high-stakes battle of wits known as "Let's Do Trivia." The ambiance was electric, the nachos were crispy, and the competition was hotter than a jalapeño on a summer day.

The Sharks swam into the trivia waters with determination, but alas, they couldn't outsmart the genius minds at About Faces. These trivia maestros were pulling answers out of thin air like magicians pulling rabbits out of hats, leaving everyone else scratching their heads.

Tres Amigos brought the spice, Hot Totz brought the heat, and Iceland Bound brought... well, they brought a map, just in case. Meanwhile, Team 2Be Reckoned With lived up to their name, reckoning with the toughest questions and securing a spot on the podium.

The atmosphere was so charged that even Han's Solo couldn't navigate through the questions solo. Nevertheless, the force was strong with him.

As for Go Getter, they were more determined than a cat trying to catch a laser pointer. The trivia masterminds in this team had their eyes on the prize, but in the end, they were just a hair short of the glory.

In an unexpected twist, About Faces emerged victorious, claiming 1st place and a whopping $40 prize – enough to make even Beyoncé do a double take. Team 2Be Reckoned With secured the coveted 2nd place, earning themselves a $10 prize and a standing ovation, or as we like to call it, the Trivia Grammys.
