Let's Do Trivia! - blurb_-_8/23/2022

It was great being back at Arenas in downtown Rehoboth again. And, ready to play they were.

About Faces started off the game with a great On Time Bonus Answer to jump into the lead. They pretty much kept that lead the whole game. They were in a tie with Pelosi's Gazpacho at halftime, and were still in the lead going into Final Bonus. In 2nd place going into Final Bonus was WoBeWeak, who had moved up from 7th place at halftime. But, then, in Final Bonus they shot for the top on a big wager and a correct answer to finish in the 1st place slot for the night. Prestige Worldwide jumped from 4th place to take the 2nd place prize for the night. 

 

This week, for Round 2 Question 1 and three extra points, draw a the END OF SUMMER SIGN in the drawing/writing area.

lets do trivia!- 8/16/22 - Arenas Rehoboth

It was great being back at Arenas in downtown Rehoboth again. This time it was Summer Time and that meant a big crowd on hand….15 teams!!! And, ready to play they were. 

The Burning A's started off the game with the best On Time Bonus answer, and, took that point. But, then, Pine Nuts and Wedding Crashers went to work and by halftime they were in a tie for the lead. As the 2nd half progressed, the house team, Hot Tots, made their move and going into Final Bonus they had moved from 9th place to 4th place behind Fuzzy Yellow Balls, Lacivious Carriage, and Wedding Crashers…in 3rd, 2nd, and 1st respectively. After the crazy happenings in Final Bonus, Wedding Crashers took the 1st place prize for the night. Hot Tots (the house team) took the 2nd place prize, so, that means the 1st place prize will be a little larger next week!!!

This week, for Round 2 Question 1 and three extra points, draw a STORM CLOUD WITH LIGHTNIING in the drawing/writing area.

Last week's game at Arena's in Rehoboth started with with our returning champions, Menace To Sobriety, in a tie with Trivia Old Timers, Trivia Newton-John, and Kenilworth Duo; but Crystal Gems quickly pulled ahead of them all, and still had the lead after halftime!

It looked like Menace To Sobriety was going to make it a repeat win, but Not Today Satan said Not Today Menace, and took a 5-point lead going into the final...

...where both teams wagered the max and answered correctly, resulting in a first place win for Not Today Satan (and a $40 prize), and a 2^nd place win for Menace To Sobriety (and a $10 prize)!!! Sound fun? It is!!! Join the fun this Tuesday at 8pm with Let's Do Trivia!!!

Summer is winding down, but the fun never winds down in Rehoboth...at Arena's!!! In last week's Let's Do Trivia, About Faces & Menace to Sobriety started out great, but it was About Faces and Scotty Doesn't Know who were tied for the lead at halftime!! Scotty Doesn't Know took the lead right away in the 2^nd half, and was leading by 4 points before the final!! But...

...Menace To Sobriety came back with a right answer in the final and won it all!!! We had to have a tiebreaker for 2^nd, between Pine Nuts and Brain Delay: Pine Nuts was closest to the correct answer and took home 2^nd!!
